New cycle link being created at Pleasley Vale linking Forge Lane with Wood Lane, Shirebrook, a much needed addition to keep people away from the fast and busy Common Lane. Part of the Archaeological Way.

Flashing electronic signs has been installed at some junctions on Victoria Road to warn motorists of the presence of cyclists. This is activated by a detector in the cycle track.
